This high level of activity is a sign that our kimchi is full of gut-healthy Lactic Acid Bacteria (probiotics). With all that is going on in the world it’s even more important that we build up our bodies and build a stronger gut.

We are determined to ship this ‘fermenta-lic-ious-ness’ to you at a reasonable cost. We thought that $25-30 was crazy. The science is on our side about shipping it cheaper yet still maintaining food safety. Kimchi is made at ambient temperatures and then refrigerated once it’s at the proper safe pH level and taste profile we look for. We ship it to you during this process and actually arrives at your door properly aged, to be stored in your refrigerator for the first time. Kimchi ferments at a faster rate outside of the refrigerator, in the refrigerator we expect it to slow down and extend the shelf-life to 9 months or longer depending on your taste buds. We do contain all jars in a food-safe sealed bag to catch any chance of brine leakage which is impossible to prevent 100% of the time. New packaging should be better but not 100%. We are dealing with Mother Nature. If it’s contained it’s still will be safe: unorthodox, yes but safe pH levels. We are dedicated to delivering the healthiest delicious tasting kimchi possible.
